Nancy Reynolds, a former dancer with the New York City Ballet, has been director of research for The George Balanchine Foundation since 1994. She conceived and continues to direct the Foundation’s video archives program. Her books include Repertory in Review: 40 Years of the New York City Ballet, The Dance Catalog, In Performance, and, with Malcolm McCormick, No Fixed Points: Dance in the Twentieth Century. Her most recent projects are the editorial directorship of the electronic version of the Balanchine catalogue raisonné and Remembering Lincoln, a collection of writings she compiled and edited for Lincoln Kirstein’s centenary.
