Authors on Audio: George Getschow

A Pulitzer Prize finalist and former longtime reporter at the Wall Street Journal, George Getschow is an instructor at the University of North Texas’ Mayborn School of Journalism and writer-in-residence at the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference. His new book is Pastures of the Empty Page: Fellow Writers on the Life and Legacy of Larry McMurtry, which the Austin-American Statesman calls “part eulogy, part memoir, part literary criticism…Among [its] pleasures…are the short biographical sketches of the contributors dangled like literary gifts at the end of each piece.”

Getschow recently discussed Pastures of the Empty Page with author/attorney Talmage Boston. Listen to the podcast here.
