Join us for a special day of meet-and-greet book signings with three nationally recognized authors as we celebrate community, family, and friends during Juneteenth weekend. This is the perfect event to bring Dad, the kids, and all your friends to!
11 a.m.: MahoganyBooks owners Derrick and Ramunda Young kick-off their vow renewal at 11 a.m. All are invited to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. The ceremony will be simple, informal, and very intentional, and they'd love to celebrate with you. All asked to wear red, black, and green in honor of our ancestors and African culture.
1 p.m.: Author, NBA star, and poet Etan Thomas signs his collection of books, including his latest, Police Brutality and White Supremacy: The Fight Against American Traditions.
3 p.m.: White House correspondent, entrepreneur, and author April Ryan signs her new candle line, JARE Candles, along with her bestselling books, including At Mama's Knee.
5 p.m.: New York Times bestselling author Dhonielle Clayton signs her collection of books, including The Marvellers, The Belles series, and Shattered Midnight.
