The illustrator of Dumpster Dog comes to DC on Sat., Mar. 16th, at 10:30AM!
His name is Dumpster Dog. He sleeps outside, walks himself, and eats whatever he wants, whenever he wants. But freedom isn't everything — Dumpster Dog needs a friend.
Dumpster Dog dreams of treats, balls, and leashes. He wants someone to play with, someone who will take him on long walks, someone who will feed him — he wants an owner. So begins Dumpster Dog's search for a human companion. But he will soon learn that finding a good owner isn't as easy as it sounds, and that the world can be a dangerous place.
French illustrator Marc Boutavant presents his latest book, Dumpster Dog, and introduces children to the other personalities from the many books he’s illustrated. He’ll show his inspiration, and work for the cartoons, many of which have become or are becoming a TV series. There will be an opportunity for kids to draw as well! Ages 6 and up.
