Join us as we welcome Andrew Joseph White to Frederick to celebrate the release of his debut young adult novel, Hell Followed with Us. This is a free public event presented in partnership with Frederick County Public Libraries. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.

 

About the book: When transgender teen Benji flees the fundamentalist cult that unleashed Armageddon, he teams up with an LGBTQ+ youth center for survival, but not before the cult infected him with a bioweapon that will transform him into a rotting beast – and wipe out what’s left of humanity.

 

About the author: Andrew Joseph White is a queer, trans author from Virginia, where he grew up falling in love with monsters and wishing he could be one, too. He is a graduate student in George Mason University’s Creative Writing program and has a habit of cuddling random street cats. Andrew writes about trans kids with claws and fangs, and what happens when they bite back. Hell Followed with Us is his debut novel.
