Starting with local California events and widening her range to Hawaii and China, Milly Bennett is eager to take on new challenges when she relocates with her Russian husband to Moscow. But she hadn’t expected her husband to be arrested, and as she struggles to sort things out, she discovers unnerving truths about both the Soviet state and her marriage.
