Texans Burk Murchison and Michael Granberry recently collaborated on Hole in the Roof: The Dallas Cowboys, Clint Murchison Jr., and the Stadium That Changed American Sports Forever. “Five thousand years from now, some sentient being will stumble upon the ruins of that giant helmet-head of a stadium in Arlington, Texas, and wonder how it all came to be,” says Ben Fountain, author of Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk. “Hopefully, a copy of Granberry’s and Murchison’s amazing [book] will still be around to tell them.”
