An occasional series in which writers speak for themselves.

Authors on Audio: A Conversation with Nathan Englander

Pulitzer Prize finalist Nathan Englander — author of, among other works, the story collections For the Relief of Unbearable Urges and What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank — is out with a new novel, kaddish.com, a funny but poignant tale of a secular man’s uneasy return to religion following his father’s death. Englander spoke recently with FM89.3 WYPL’s Stephen Usery about his latest release.
