Authors on Audio: A Conversation with Candacy Taylor

Already the author of Counter Culture: The American Coffee Shop Waitress and Route 66 Road Trip, documentarian Candacy Taylor is back with Overground Railroad: The Green Book and the Roots of Black Travel in America. Her new work is the companion publication to “The Negro Motorists' Green Book and American Story,” a Smithsonian touring exhibition scheduled to open at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis in June. Taylor recently discussed Overground Railroad with WYPL.
