Join Master of Ceremonies Henry Crawford for a Splendid Wake 6, featuring Abdul Ali (remembering Dolores Kendrick); Kim Roberts (on DC Jazz Age writers, including Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston, and others); A.B. Spellman (on poetry and jazz in the work of performance poets during the Black Arts Movement); Truth Thomas (on the power of poetic brevity and the fixed-form framework of The Skinny); and Maritza Rivera (on her invention of Blackjack Poetry).
