Elizabeth Robelen
Liz Robelen comes to The Washington Independent Review of Books with a wide range of artistic and administrative experience. After several years as an actor in Washington professional theater, she spent several decades as a director and dramaturge, working primarily on new plays and serving as Director of Script Development for Source Theatre Company. At the same time, she held a variety of positions in area private schools, serving as teacher, librarian and chief fund-raising officer. She has a degree in international relations and currently serves as an editor and writer in a federal government agency.
