The indie stalwart branches out

Politics and Prose Comes to the Wharf

One of the area’s favorite independent bookstores brings its treasures to the Wharf, Washington’s premier waterfront shopping/dining/exploring destination situated along the Potomac.

Opening today, Politics and Prose’s new 2,300-square-foot store will offer shoppers a selection of novels, nonfiction, stationery, and other goodies, as well as space for author and community events (such as the Hurston Wright Legacy Award Reading on Oct. 19th).

Just like at its main location, events at the Wharf will be free and open to the public. They’ll also be easy to find, since P&P has a page on its site dedicated to all things Wharfish. To learn more about this new literary venture, click here.

Politics and Prose at the Wharf is located at 70 District Square, SW, Washington, DC. Hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
