It’s an All-Star Lineup!

The 2022 Washington Writers Conference is thrilled to welcome you back in person on May 13-14! In addition to our one-on-one agent-pitch sessions, we’ll have an exciting array of panels covering everything from the business of writing to specialized craft workshops.

Just who will be there? We’re glad you asked!

This year’s stellar lineup includes literary luminaries like poet Teri Ellen Cross Davis, author of the award-winning Haint and poetry coordinator for the Folger Shakespeare Library; Louis Bayard, esteemed essayist, critic, and author of works like Courting Mr. Lincoln and The Pale Blue Eye (the latter of which is being filmed by Netflix); and Karin Tanabe, the journalist-turned-author of six novels, including The Gilded Years, soon to be a major motion picture starring Zendaya, who will co-produce the film with Reese Witherspoon.

Our remarkable roster also includes Marita Golden, Nate Hoffelder, Elizabeth Chang, Richard Peabody, Susan Muaddi Darraj, Donna Hemans, Morowa Yejidé, and dozens of others. Stay tuned to learn more about them.
