- She founded Rita Rosenkranz Literary Agency in 1990 after a career as an editor with major New York publishing houses.
- She represents adult nonfiction, and her award-winning list runs from the decorative (Flowers, White House Style: More than 125 Arrangements by the Former White House Chief Floral Decorator) to the dark (Saving Beauty from the Beast: How to Protect Your Daughter from an Unhealthy Relationship).
- Rita is a member of the Authors Guild, Women’s Media Group, and the Association of American Literary Agents.
