Authors on Audio: William Elliott Hazelgrove

William Elliott Hazelgrove is the author of 20+ books, including Madam President: The Secret Presidency of Edith Wilson and Al Capone and the 1933 World’s Fair: The End of the Gangster Era in Chicago. His newest work is Greed in the Gilded Age: The Brilliant Con of Cassie Chadwick. Says Library Journal, “The delightfully sensationalist writing…evokes the yellow journalism of the era. Readers curious about the Gilded Age or who enjoy stories of con artists will appreciate Hazelgrove’s lively tale of a most ambitious grifter.” Hazelgrove discussed Greed in the Gilded Age with WYPL’s Stephen Usery in May.
