Lost City Books in Washington, D.C. is hosting a pajama party to celebrate the release of Emily Henry's new book "Funny Story" on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024. The event will run from 7 pm to 9 pm at their bookstore located at 2467 18th Street Northwest. Booksellers Jac and Meghan, hosts of the Meet Cute and Small Press Book Club, are inviting romance readers from the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area to attend. In true slumber party fashion, there will be games like mad libs and trivia along with classic sleepover snacks. Attendees are encouraged to come in their pajamas and gab about their favorite fictional love interests. Emily Henry-themed prizes will be handed out at the end of the night. To attend, you must RSVP on Eventbrite and pre-order a copy of "Funny Story" from Lost City Books. This is a free event with the purchase of the book.
