Knits n' Yarns is a biweekly book club and knitting group hosted by Solid State Books, a Black-owned independent bookstore in Washington, D.C. The group meets every two weeks on Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the front table of the Solid State Books location on H Street Northeast. This event provides a welcoming space for bookish fiber artists to come together, work on their current knitting or crocheting projects, and discuss their favorite books, what they're currently reading, and titles they want to add to their to-be-read lists. The group is open to the public, and new members are always welcome to join. Whether you're an avid knitter, a passionate reader, or simply someone who enjoys the company of like-minded individuals, the Knits n' Yarns group offers a cozy and engaging environment to explore your interests and connect with others who share your love of the written word and the craft of fiber arts.
