Bram Stoker's classic novel "Dracula" will be the focus of the Horror Book Club's upcoming meeting on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Solid State Books in Washington, DC. The event will be hosted by Philippe Nassir and is part of the club's monthly discussion of notable works in the horror genre. "Dracula" is widely regarded as a seminal work of Gothic horror, following the desperate battle against the powerful, ancient vampire Count Dracula. The story begins as Jonathan Harker travels to Transylvania to assist Dracula in purchasing a home in London, where the vampire lord then begins to wreak havoc.
