The event, moderated by noted Texas writer Ruth Pennebaker, will feature excerpts from the book and a discussion about the process of becoming a sisterhood of writers and creating this anthology . Background: From Down Under to the Lone Star State and from coast to coast, nine women came together early in the pandemic for an online writing course called "Writing about your Mom without Guilt." They bonded and continued to meet on Zoom, sharing their writing on a variety of topics. Together they created this collection of 42 unique and provocative pieces reflecting their singular lives.
