Details	The Reads and Reels book club is for those who read the book, watch the movie/show and want to to talk about both! The club meets every other month to discuss a book and movie pairing. If you have any questions or are interested in joining, please email destinee@eastcitybookshop.com. About the Host: Destinee joined the team in September, 2016 and has been recommending omnivorously ever since. From thrillers to narrative non-fiction to literary fiction and middle grade, if it's a good story or piques her curious mind, she'll read it and enjoy it. That said, she's most known at the store for converting unsuspecting readers to being romance book lovers and for her passion for Caribbean literature. She is currently the Book Club Coordinator, and hosts five book clubs at the store. She worked with DC Public Schools for over a decade in a variety of roles and still keeps educator book lovers close to her heart.
