Stranger Than Fiction focuses on memoirs, essays, and other timely narrative nonfiction. This group meets on Sunday afternoons and is led by Destinee. Please join us! About the Host:

Destinee joined the team in September, 2016 and has been recommending omnivorously ever since. From thrillers to narrative non-fiction to literary fiction and middle grade, if it's a good story or piques her curious mind, she'll read it and enjoy it. That said, she's most known at the store for converting unsuspecting readers to being romance book lovers and for her passion for Caribbean literature. She is currently the Book Club Coordinator, and hosts five book clubs at the store. She worked with DC Public Schools for over a decade in a variety of roles and still keeps educator book lovers close to her heart.
