Banning books is all about restricting access; we're about reading those books instead! Join us as we read frequently challenged and banned books and discuss why it's critical that kids have access to them. This club will focus on books frequently challenged in schools, so we'll read a mix of picture books, middle grade, and young adult books. Reading these books prepares us to defend them when others try to get them removed from places readers can access them.

We want this book club to be as accessible as possible, so we'll have both in person and online meetings. They'll both operate in the same manner and be led by Kathy Ellen. Attend either one and feel free to go back and forth between the two as your schedule allows.
