The Pulitzer Prize Committee announced their 2013 award winners yesterday. (And unlike last year, they chose a winner in fiction this time!) I present below the Independent’s reviews of the winners:
1) FICTION: The Orphan Master’s Son by Adam Johnson. Our review by Alice Stephens is here.
2) POETRY: Stag’s Leap by Sharon Olds. Grace Cavalieri reviewed this work as part of September’s Exemplars: Poetry Reviews.
3) GENERAL NONFICTION: Devil in the Grove: Thurgood Marshall, the Groveland Boys, and the Dawn of a New America by Gilbert King. Our review by Bruce Allen Murphy is here.
Go and read our reviews: what do you think of the choices?
