Pitch? Perfect!

Don't be nervous! Here's how to wow the agents at the Washington Writers Conference.

Pitch? Perfect!

Of course you’re freaking out about pitching your novel or nonfiction proposal to a literary agent! (We writers aren’t exactly known for being extroverts, right?) But you’re going to get three six-minute pitch sessions when you register for this year’s Washington Writers Conference, and you’ll want to make the most of them.

Luckily, there are lots of things to do to prepare! Along with taking a deep breath — nobody wants you to pass out on Zoom — and remembering why your book deserves to be published, you can read this article for tips on making your pitch a success.

What are you waiting for? Register NOW before the conference sells out! Remember: Last year’s registrants were rolled over, so we only have a handful of additional spots available.

The Washington Writers Conference happens April 27 & 29 and May 4 & 6; agent-pitch sessions run May 14-15. Click here to register!
