Meet Pamela Haag
- April 22, 2016
The author of The Gunning of America comes to DC this Mon., Apr. 25th, at 6:30PM
In The Gunning of America, historian Pamela Haag overturns conventional wisdom. American gun culture, she argues, developed not because the gun was exceptional, but because it was not: guns proliferated in America because throughout most of the nation’s history, they were perceived as a simple commodity, no different than buttons or typewriters.
