Award-winning crime novelist Laura Lippman spent two decades as a reporter, many of those years with the Baltimore Sun. Along with her acclaimed Tess Monaghan series, Lippman’s bestsellers include And When She Was Good” target=“_blank”>And When She Was Good, Life Sentences” target=“_blank”>Life Sentences, and her most recent book, Jonathan Yardley, “transcends the limits of genre.” As a participant in the conference’s “Mystery Market” panel, Lippman will share some of what she’s learned from her journey to becoming a successful writer.
