A contributing editor at Southern Living and former editor at Real Simple and Vogue, Elizabeth Passarella is also the author of two essay collections, Good Apple: Tales of a Southern Evangelical in New York and It Was an Ugly Couch Anyway: And Other Thoughts on Moving Forward. Julia Claiborne Johnson calls the latter, released this past spring, “a delight — wise, funny, beautifully written.” Passarella discussed It Was an Ugly Couch Anyway with Stephen Usery in May.
