Ms. Hill will discuss her new creative biography of her mother, "Tiny Tots in Tiaras and Tuxedos: The Life, Love, and Business Success of Kermit B. Hill," with readings and a book signing.

Francene will share how she transformed old love letters, newspaper clippings, and vintage photographs into a vivid portrait of her mother’s remarkable journey—from guarding wartime secrets at the Pentagon to founding the Tiny Tot Nursery School, which empowered generations of children for six decades. The book has been described as "an inspiring true story of Kermit Hill, an African American woman who broke barriers to create Tiny Tot School of St. Louis." More info: https://tinytotalums.com/

The program will take place in the Library Multi-Purpose Room, on the first floor off the lobby. Questions? Contact the branch at 240-777-0678.
