Join Vocales Verticales for an afternoon of poetry, writing, and ideas. How can we use poetry as a tool for resistance? Discover how others did it and write some poems. Ana Blandiana, born in 1942 in Timișoara, Romania, is a renowned Romanian poet, writer, and translator. A dissident, she faced censorship and was a key figure in Romania's 1989 anti-Soviet Communist uprising. A voice for democracy and human rights, her literary and activist legacy continues to inspire.
