About the Speakers: Amanda Leland leads the Environmental Defense Fund, one of the world’s most influential environmental organizations. In Sea Change, she traces how partnerships between fishermen, environmentalists, and entrepreneurs have reshaped the future of global fisheries—and why their lessons matter now more than ever. Chef Kyle Bailey, of the Salt Mine and Long Shot Hospitality, co-founded the DC chapter of Dock-to-Dish, a sustainable seafood cooperative connecting local fishermen directly to chefs. Why Now: October is National Seafood Month, a moment to spotlight sustainable fishing practices and consumer choices.
