Are you over 21 but still love reading YA? Join our W(h)ine & Angst Book Club, where we drink wine and read all kinds of books about teenagers. Run by Cecilia and Keiana, meetings are the second Friday of each month, at 6:30 PM.

Cecilia is the book buyer for the nonprofit, First Book, and leads YA book clubs for teens and adults at East City Bookshop. When not reading, ordering, or talking about books, she is usually creating or teaching art.

Keiana is the Diversity in KidLit Advocate at East City Bookshop and an Assistant Professor of Social Work at George Mason University, and despite the growing demands of her child and research, she hosts three book clubs. She spends her time reading across all genres and age ranges, so she can make recommendations for your whole family!
