Day Eight’s 2025 DC Poet Project reading series and open-to-all poetry competition kicks off with an online reading featuring teacher/poets. Each event includes an open mic, and $250 open mic prize, leading to the grand prize of a $1,000 book contract. The 2025 series features 13 exceptional DC-area poets in four reading events.
