Join us for a read aloud and Meet and Greet with Alice P. Tapper in the Children and Teens Department!

About the Book:

When children don’t feel well, sometimes people don't listen to them.  But Alice learns to use her voice to explain her condition so she can be correctly diagnosed with the help of colorful creatures based on the pain scale.  A guide for young children to learn how to advocate for themselves and what their bodies need.

About the Author:

After the success of her first book, Raise Your HandAlice P. Tapper is back with the release of her second children’s book! Use Your Voice details a life-changing hospitalization Tapper experienced back in 2021. Alice P. Tapper is also the daughter of CNN’s Jake Tapper, and currently resides in Washington, DC with her family
