Loyalty is so excited to host Drag Story Hour with Charlemagne Chateau! Drag Story Hour takes place on the second Sunday of the month at 11 AM. We'll see you at Loyalty's NEW Silver Spring location: 923 Gist Avenue, Silver Spring, MD. This event is FREE to attend, but please RSVP at [email protected] to let us know you're coming! Please note: for safety reasons, adults must be accompanied by a child to attend story hour. Feel free to email [email protected] with any questions. ABOUT DRAG STORY HOUR Drag Story Hour is just what it sounds like! Storytellers using the art of drag to read books to kids in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where everyone can be their authentic selves! Please note Loyalty has a zero tolerance policy for harassment or intimidation of any kind during this event. |
