P&P Live!: Sara Sligar - Take Me Apart — in conversation with Angie Kim

This event will be streamed online as part of our P&P Live! Series.

One of the most anticipated debuts of the year, Sara Sligar’s pitch-perfect psychological thriller traces the lives of two women: one, Kate Aitken, is a former journalist who relocates from New York to California after accusing her boss of sexual harassment. The other, Miranda Brand, was a groundbreaking photographer who, under the pressures of career, motherhood, and marriage, died by suicide twenty years before. Hired by Brand’s son to organize his mother’s archives, Kate develops an infatuation for her employer. She also finds herself falling under Miranda’s spell, and as she pieces together the older woman’s story, comes to suspect that she was murdered. Then she discovers a diary that complicates both her and Miranda’s stories in unforeseen new ways.

Sligar with be in conversation with Angie Kim celebrating the paperback release of her book Miracle Creek.
