P&P Live!: Laura Zam - The Pleasure Plan: One Woman's Search for Sexual Healing - in conversation with Abby Maslin

A sexuality educator, Certified Trauma Professional, and HuffPost blogger, Zam was for many years among the 50 percent of women who suffer from sexual dysfunction. In her honest and inspiring book, built from essays she wrote for Salon and The New York Times’s “Modern Love” column, Zam relates how abuse left her unable to enjoy physical intimacy. Only in her forties—with the help of her husband, fifteen healers, and thirty pleasure-enhancing methods—was she able to banish the emotional scars and realize the full potential of her sensual self. Sharing her story in order to help other women achieve sexual well-being, Zam demystifies taboos, encourages women to make pleasure a priority, and shows men how they can support their female partners. Zam will be in conversation with Abby Maslin, author of Love You Hard.
