We’ll be discussing “Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win” by Jo Piazza. Charlotte Walsh, a Silicon Valley Executive, has moved her family of five back to her hometown in Pennsylvania to run for the U.S. Senate in a race that could decide the balance of power in Congress. A suspenseful novel of political ambition, marriage, class and gender, this novel is a timely portrait of what it takes for a woman to run for political office in America. The Badass Women’s Book Club is a community of women eager to read and discuss the stories of badass women – women who have courageously embraced who they are and what they have to offer.

Members are women who have become aware of their own value and who are – just like the women in the books they read – ready to raise their voices, be heard, and impact our communities in positive and meaningful ways.
