The annual event returns to the Washington, DC, area April 29-30!

Washington Writers Conference 2016

Want to engage with some of the most successful authors, editors, and agents around? Even better, want to learn how to get published? Then register for this year’s Washington Writers Conference, which takes place April 29-30 in Bethesda, MD!

Saturday’s lineup includes keynote speaker Bob Woodward, plus Michael Dirda, Ron Childress, Donna Britt, Neely Tucker, Nora Pouillon, and many more. Dozens of agents will be on hand, too, for our popular one-on-one pitch sessions. (Yep, it’s what it sounds like: a chance to present your ideas face-to-face.)

New this year — following the Friday night reception, a casual gathering where conference attendees and panelists can have a drink, talk shop, and get to know one another — is an informative “How to Pitch an Agent” panel, which will help a lot if you have a manuscript (or just a great idea) to present the next day!

Click here for more information on the Washington Writers Conference, and here if you’re ready to register now at the early-bird rate. And watch this space in the weeks ahead for updates on the conference, including the names of additional agents and panelists.

See you in April!
