Look what’s happening at the 2023 Washington Writers Conference!

Panel in the Spotlight: “Debut Authors: Paths to Publication”

A love story with roots in the WWII era; a YA novel set at an elite prep school; and a study of Irish crime writers. Each of these debuts had its own unique journey to the bookshelf. In “Debut Authors: Paths to Publication,” just one of many outstanding panels at the 2023 Washington Writers Conference, moderator Eliza Nellums — All That’s Bright and Gone and The Bone Cay — leads a conversation with debut authors Martha Anne Toll (Three Muses), Charlene Thomas (Seton Girls), and Anjili Babbar (Finders: Justice, Faith, and Identity in Irish Crime Fiction). Together, they’ll help you learn what they’ve learned along the way!

Afterward, stick around to buy (and have them sign) their debuts from our official bookseller, DC indie Solid State Books!

The 2023 Washington Writers Conference takes place May 12-13 in Rockville, MD. Spots are going fast, so REGISTER NOW!
