A founding editor of MAKE Literary Magazine, former Chicago schoolteacher Michael Zapata is also author of the debut novel The Lost Book of Adana Moreau, which Salon calls an “elegant and sweeping multigenerational, international story of lives marked by political violence and bound by the shared condition of exile.” Zapata recently discussed the book with WYPL Book Talk in Memphis, TN.
