Megan Shank

Megan Shank is a freelance writer and Chinese translator whose work has appeared in Newsweek InternationalBloomberg NewsArchaeology MagazineMs. Magazine, and The Daily Beast, among others. During a seven-year stint in China, she served as a senior editor at the Chinese-language edition of Newsweek. She is currently researching her first book, and has contributed to two anthologies: Chinese Characters (University of California Press, 2012); and Women Worldwide: Transnational Feminist Perspectives on Women (McGraw-Hill, 2010). A graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism, Shank was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and currently calls New York home. Her website is www.meganshank.com.
