Kristie Miller

Kristie Miller is a political biographer of the Golden Age and Progressive Era. Her most recent book, Ellen and Edith: Woodrow Wilson’s First Ladies, was published in 2010. Isabella Greenway: An Enterprising Woman, the 2004 biography of Arizona’s sole member of Congress during the New Deal, won three awards. Kristie also co-edited, with Robert H. McGinnis, A Volume of Friendship, Greenway’s 50-year correspondence with Eleanor Roosevelt (2009). Her 1992 biography of her grandmother, Ruth Hanna McCormick, A Life in Politics (1992), was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. She is a Research Associate at the University of Arizona.
