Joel Meadows

Joel Meadows has been editor-in-chief of TRIPWIRE for twenty years, an award-winning British magazine focused on graphic novels, TV, film and genre. He has interviewed tens of the most important figures in the world of Film, TV, comics and genre including Guillermo Del Toro, Frank Miller, Alan Moore, Joe Kubert, Matt Groening, Frank Darabont, Mike Mignola, Joss Whedon and scores more. He is also an experienced journalist who has written about Film, TV, animation and genre for publications including Empire, Variety, Death Ray, SFX, Sci Fi Now, The Times, Time Magazine, the Independent on Sunday and The Guardian for nearly twenty years now . He was the writer of Studio Space, a book on 20 of the world’s best comic artists published  by Image Comics, helped by Gary Marshall. He has also worked as a sub editor and copy editor on publications like The Times, Evening Standard, NME, Total Film, The Observer and Time Magazine. His photography has been published in publications like Big Issue in the North, Comic Heroes and Sci Fi Now. He is a lifelong resident of London.
