Alexis Akre

Alexis Akre, a DC-area native, has worked in book-selling for ten years.  After receiving her BA in English from Barnard College, she returned to the District of Columbia, where she was the book buyer and general manager at the much-missed Olsson’s Books & Records.  She recently relocated to New York City, where she works in the bubbling literary cauldron that is Brooklyn, NY, at the new, independent Greenlight Bookstore.
