On the evening of September 24, Fitzgerald's 125th birthday, the festival will show "Gatsby in Connecticut," a documentary about Fitzgerald's time in Westport, Connecticut, and how it influenced The Great Gatsby. Following the film, there will be a discussion with the film's director/producer, Robert Williams, and Fitzgerald scholar and film participant Walter Raubicheck.

Since 1996, the F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival has honored Fitzgerald's work and prominent American literary artists. Through this year's online presentations, we also hope to expand our reach to support, encourage, and assist aspiring and emerging writers and students. We thank our supporters, the City of Rockville and the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, whose generous contributions fund this festival. We also thank our partners, the Writer's Center, Montgomery County Public Libraries, Montgomery County Public Schools, Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, and Peerless Rockville. Their contributions of staff and services make this annual festival possible. For more information and updates, visit www.fscottfestival.org.
