| Details | Get into the Mardi Gras spirit and don a disguise for this masquerade party book launch of Diana Smith Bolton's "A Compass for My Bones" (Main Street Rag Press). Bolton will read poems of identity, perception, and persona from her new chapbook. Hosted by Teri Cross Davis and Hayes Davis, guest readers include Sally Rosen Kindred and John James. Entertainment includes open mic, raffle, musical guest, and Mardi Gras king cake. Colony Club will serve up delicious coffee, beer, wine, and spirits, including a cocktail especially crafted for the event. Be sure to bring your original persona poetry to read at the open mic! |
