We will be in a private room at Del Frisco's Grille on Pennsylvania Avenue near 12th Street, NW. Our featured guest will be Ruben Castaneda. His book, S Street Rising: Crack, Murder & Redemption in D.C., is about his experiences in the early 1990s from the perspective of a Washington Post reporter who was covering the crack epidemic--and using crack at the same time. It was listed by the Washington Post as one of the 50 most notable nonfiction books published in 2014.
