- October 8, 2016
Let the experts behind the Washington Writers Conference show you how to market your masterpiece!

Writer and former ASJA president Salley Shannon will outline the basics of a publication plan, defining your target audience and what goes in a press kit. Other presenters include Monica Bhide, a social-media expert and author of Karma and the Art of Butter Chicken; Danielle Tate, an entrepreneur who scored a review in Forbes of her self-published Elegant Entrepreneur; Austin S. Camacho, owner of Intrigue Publishing LLC and author of Successfully Marketing Your Novel in the 21st Century; and journalist Alicia Shepard, former NPR ombudsman.
